But Captain Leia knew the truth, a certainty she would take to her watery grave. Yes, human conceit and structural malfeasance did play a crucial role in the disaster and perhaps addressing any one of those issues might’ve lessened the damage. But, quite simply, this whole thing could’ve been avoided had someone not shined a red laser directly on that damned iceberg.
